Become a Presidential Ambassador

Mission Statement

The mission of the group is to support events that connect current students with alumni, faculty, staff, and university friends; to act as ambassadors of the university; and to create new traditions which enhance KU pride.


In order to become a Presidential Ambassador you must meet the following qualifications:

  • GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Good judicial standing
  • All University student fees paid
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Ability to attend required, regular meetings (every other Thursday evening)
  • Commitment to volunteer for at least 3 events in the fall semester and 2 events in the spring semester as well as all mandatory events.
  • Have three full semesters to be an active member of the organization.

New members are selected each semester.

The Presidential Ambassadors partake in fundraising initiatives to give back to Kutztown University and Kutztown University Foundation & Alumni Relations. Their major fundraiser is the Presidential Ambassador Tuition Sweepstakes. All other proceeds from this fundraiser financially support the organization’s annual activities to support its mission.
