Leon Ariyan `95 is an entrepreneur, creator, and owner of multiple companies, including Moxie Print and XCloud. His strength and career focus has been in starting companies and the process of building and selling them.
Mr. Ariyan is involved with many charitable foundations, but mainly those connected with his Motherland of Armenia. From 2013-2018 he was Chairman of Armenian Fund USA, an east coast based 501C that assists with projects to help the people of Armenia. He is also now on the board of the City of Smile USA foundation which is a newly formed 501 who’s main goal is to aid with Children in Armenia that are stricken with Cancer. Mr. Ariyan was also Chairman of the Parish Council for St. Mary Armenian Church from 2012-1018.

Dean D’Amico '89 is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at the Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, he is responsible for creating and maintaining personalized investment strategies utilizing a broad range of wealth management services, including financial planning and wealth strategy. This includes assisting clients with establishing goals and objectives, working towards developing an appropriate overall strategy, formulating and implementing potential solutions, and conducting periodic reviews to help clients monitor progress toward reaching their financial goals. In addition, he supports clients in navigating through changing market environments, providing global asset allocation, tax minimization strategies, retirement and goal based strategies. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Dean served as a Senior Investment Strategist at Wells Fargo Private Bank. At Wells Fargo he focused on managing institutional and high net worth private client portfolios. Dean holds the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and is a member of the Philadelphia Financial Analyst Society. Dean obtained a BS in Economics from Kutztown University.

Jeffrey Fussner is the Eastern PA and DE Hospital and Rehabilitation Relationship Specialist with Hanger Clinic (Prosthetics and Orthotics). Prior to that he was the CEO/President of Boas Surgical, Inc. Jeff sold his company to Hanger Clinic in 2019 and has moved onto his current role. He graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Biology. Jeff has served on the Kutztown University Foundation since 2018. Jeff resides in Kempton, PA with his wife Raina.

Carol Gauker '96 is the Office Managing Partner of KPMG LLP's Harrisburg office, where she has worked since January 2001. Prior to that she has worked in the tax departments of Exide Corporation and EnerSys. She graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Business Administration - Accounting. Carol currently resides in Schuylkill Haven, PA. She joined the Kutztown University Foundation in January 2023 and also serves as the Treasurer of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and as a Commissioner on the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission.

Scot Horst believes in the transformation of people and places through the use of shared tools. He is the Founder and founding CEO of Arc Skoru and the Arc platform, which tracks and scores the actual performance of existing buildings, cities and places. For 11 years, he oversaw LEED as the program grew from hundreds to over one hundred thousand projects globally.
Prior to LEED, Scot was the President of 7group, a leading green building consultancy, and of Athena Institute International, a nonprofit dedicated to the lifecycle assessment of buildings.
Scot co-authored “An Integrative Design Guide to Green Building.” He serves on the board of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute and has served for the Sustainable Building Alliance in Paris, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, the Energy and Retrofit Finance Committee of the World Economic Forum and others that focus on transformation through standards.
Scot holds dual degrees in philosophy and voice performance from Oberlin College and the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He sang opera professionally and maintains a furniture design studio.

Norman Inkpen ’70 retired from First American Title Insurance Company in 2014. Prior to retirement, he was a senior vice president managing regional production facilities both in the U.S. and in the Philippines and India. He originally was a founding partner and President of Pioneer Agency, a title insurance agency in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Delaware that was acquired by First American Title in 2000. He currently resides in Wolfeboro, N.H., and has served on the Kutztown University Foundation Board since 2015.

Tom Kauffman ’92 is the Tax Director at East Penn Manufacturing Co., where he has worked since October 2017. Prior to that he was a Tax Partner at RKL LLP, where he worked for over 20 years, and prior to that was employed with EY. He graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Business Administration – Accounting. Tom currently resides in Oley, Pa. He joined the Kutztown University Foundation in July 2021 and also serves on the KU Accounting Advisory Board. Tom also serves on the boards of the Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America and the Oley Valley Community Education Foundation.

She is proud to be a community volunteer as a board member of the Kutztown University Foundation since 2018, a Trustee at her alma mater, PA College of Health Sciences, a Meals on Wheels delivery person, a grocery shopper for senior citizens through Berks Encore, and also serves on several ad hoc committees. She and her husband have been long time supporters of KU, having served as co-chairs of the Sesquicentennial Celebration committee.

Willis Rapp served as Professor of Music at Kutztown University from 1986-2013, when he retired with the distinction of Professor Emeritus. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from West Chester University, a diploma of fine arts in wind conducting from the University of Calgary, and the Doctor of Musical Arts from the Catholic University of America. He has served as principal conductor of the Reading Pops Orchestra since 2007, and the Kutztown University Foundation Board of Directors since 2014.

Dr. Marilyn Stewart taught at Kutztown for 31 years and received the Arthur and Isabel Wiesenberger Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is author of K-8 art textbook programs, a frequent keynote speaker and consultant here and abroad, and has conducted over 200 professional development seminars in over 35 states. A Distinguished Fellow of the National Art Education Association, she has received recognition and numerous awards for her contributions and was named the 2011 National Art Educator of the Year. She joined the KU Foundation Board in 2020.

Kathleen Nolan Stuardi taught elementary school in the Abington School District (PA) for the majority of her professional career. During her tenure she contributed to curriculum development and professional mentoring. In addition, Kathleen served as coach for the Abington Junior High lacrosse team for many years. Kathleen has dedicated her post teaching career to providing support to numerous organizations, such as Dreuding Center for disadvantaged families and the United Way food drives.
Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Kutztown University, where she was also a member of the women’s lacrosse team. She holds a Master of Education from Arcadia University.

Dr. Nathaniel Williams
Dr. Nathaniel J Williams is President/CEO and founder of HumanWorks Affiliates, Inc., a cluster of eight organizations providing management support for social services and direct social services for the past 28 years. He is a licensed social worker, with two doctoral degrees, four master’s degrees, and two honorary doctorates. He has also authored ten books. Dr. Williams lives in Ambler, Pa., with his wife, Tadé, and their 8 children, of which whom has autism, and another is adopted. His professional career has been shaped from growing up as a ward of the New York State foster care system, which he entered at 5 years old when he and 11 of his siblings were orphaned following the death of his mother from a cranial aneurysm.
