I tend to live my life by the following quote that is often attributed to John Wesley (although some dispute that he ever said it):

“Do all the good you can,

by all the means you can,

in all the ways you can,

in all the places you can,

at all the times you can,

to all the people you can,

as long as ever you can.”

And from the Book of Common Prayer:

“Bless us with enough foolishness to believe that

We can make a difference in this world,

So that we can do what others claim cannot be done.”

These inform my philanthropy in many ways.

“Philanthropy is about giving of yourself and not always just in monetary ways. Sometimes just time and effort can be philanthropic.”
